• Storefront Pixel Events: We collect anonymized product view, add-to-cart, and remove-from-cart events through Shopify's web pixel framework. Each event contains a product ID, the shop domain, an anonymous client ID supplied by Shopify, and a timestamp. We do not collect names, emails, IP addresses, or any other personally identifiable information.
• Cart Updates (legacy installs only): For shops still using the original Cart Count widget, we receive cart-related information through Shopify webhooks, including cart tokens, product IDs, and variant IDs.
• Order Access: We access order information only to count orders for sales-ticker widgets and, for legacy installs, to mark a cart as "converted" when an order is placed. No customer-related data is collected or stored.
• Shop-Related Data: We collect shop-specific data (shop domain, plan tier, subscription status) necessary to provide app functionality and gate paid features.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To compute real-time counts (cart counts, live viewers, recent product views, sales tickers) that the app displays on your storefront.
• To track product interest and cart statuses for legacy installs.
• To update cart statuses when orders are placed (legacy installs).
• To ensure the smooth operation of the app within your Shopify store.

3. Data Retention

Pixel-derived view records are retained for 31 days; active-cart records for 7 days; legacy cart records for 7 days. Shop-related data is deleted within 48 hours of app uninstallation, in compliance with Shopify's app/uninstalled and shop/redact webhooks. You can request immediate deletion at any time using the contact information below.

4. How We Protect Your Data

Your data is handled securely and is not shared with any third parties. We follow strict measures to prevent unauthorized access or misuse of your data.
